I was inspired into ministering to prisoners by my Dad (RIP). He used to engage prisoners to dig our land in Kabale (western Uganda). He treated them with so much love and dignity that to us, they were just ordinary people and whatever crimes they had committed were not an issue.
Later after school, I joined an organisation that was established to look after orphans and to bring the Love of God and Hope to underprivileged people in Uganda. When one day, I went with my superior to prison, which is one of their ministries, I knew from that moment that God had called me to bring his love to prisoners. After five years with this organisation, it was clear to me that I needed to start a full-time prison ministry. And so in March 2010, LOREM – the love revolution ministries was born.
